We want you to understand exactly how this site works and how we are paid. Please read this disclosure before you submit a request.

We Are Not a Lender

Auto Approve Loans does not make loans, approve applications, set rates or fund loans. "Auto Approve" is our brand name only; it does not mean approval is automatic or likely. We operate a connecting service that shares consumer requests with participating lenders and partners. Lenders make every credit decision, and not every applicant is approved. We are not an agent, representative or broker of any lender, and we do not endorse any particular lender or loan product.

How We Earn Money

Our service is free for consumers. We are compensated by lenders, lending networks and marketing partners in our network. Compensation may be paid when a request is shared with a partner, when a consumer is shown an offer, or when a loan is completed, depending on the agreement. We never charge consumers a fee to submit a request, see offers or decline them.

How Compensation May Affect Offers

Compensation may influence which lenders or partners receive your request, the order in which offers appear, and which offers are shown at all. Our network does not include every lender or every loan product available in the market, so you may find other options elsewhere. We encourage you to compare offers and consider alternatives before accepting any loan.

Editorial Independence

Compensation does not influence our editorial content. Our guides, cost estimates, calculators and explanations are written and reviewed by our editorial team using our own standards. Partners do not write, approve or pay for specific articles, and we do not change what we say about costs, risks or alternatives to please a partner.

APR and Loan Term Disclosure

Personal loans offered by lenders in our network typically range from about $500 to $5,000. APRs typically range from about 6% to 35.99%, depending on your credit, income, state and the lender. Repayment terms usually range from 3 to 36 months. Some lenders charge origination fees, which may be deducted from the amount you receive or added to your balance. All rates, fees and terms are set by the lender and are disclosed in the lender's loan agreement before you sign.

Representative example: a $2,000 personal loan repaid over 12 months at 24% APR would cost about $189.12 per month, or $2,269.43 in total ($269.43 in interest). This is an estimate; your actual rate and terms are set by the lender.

For more on how rates are set, see our page on personal loan rates, or try the personal loan calculator to estimate payments for other amounts.

State Availability

Our service is not available in every state, and lenders in our network do not operate in every state. Loan amounts, rates, fees and terms may vary by state law. Some states set maximum interest rates or loan amounts, and lenders follow the rules where you live. If no lender serves your state, you will not receive an offer through our service.

Credit Checks

Auto Approve Loans does not perform credit checks. Lenders in our network may check your credit using one or more consumer reporting agencies. A soft credit check, often used to show estimated offers, does not affect your credit score. A hard credit check, often run before final approval, may have a small and temporary effect on your score. By submitting a request, you allow participating lenders to verify your information and review your credit as described in their own terms.

Late and Missed Payments

If you accept a loan, missing a payment or paying late may lead to late fees, returned payment fees from the lender or your bank, and additional interest, as described in your loan agreement. Lenders may report late or missed payments to credit bureaus, which can lower your credit score. Unpaid accounts may be sent to collections, and collection practices must follow federal and state law. If you expect to miss a payment, contact your lender right away to ask about options.

Renewal and Refinancing Policies

Each lender sets its own policy on loan renewals, extensions and payment changes, and these policies are subject to state law. Some lenders do not offer renewals at all. Before you sign, read your loan agreement to learn whether renewal is possible, what it would cost, and how it would change your total repayment.

Borrow Responsibly

A personal loan can help cover an urgent car repair, insurance bill or inspection repair, but it is still debt. Borrow only what you need and can repay on schedule. Ask your repair shop about payment plans, check whether insurance covers the cost, and get a second estimate when you have time. Questions about this disclosure can go to our team through the contact page.

Get your car back on the road

One free request is shared with participating lenders for car repairs, insurance and other car costs from $500 to $5,000. Lenders make every decision.
