Auto Approve Loans started with a simple observation: car trouble rarely arrives at a convenient time, and the people dealing with it often have only a few hours to decide how to pay. A failed inspection, a grinding brake rotor or a collision deductible can turn a normal week into a stressful one. We built this site to make that moment clearer, calmer and more honest.
Despite the name, nothing here is automatic. Auto Approve is simply our brand. We do not approve, fund or lend money. Lenders in our network review each request, decide whether to make an offer, and set the APR, fees and repayment terms. Not every applicant is approved.
Our Story
Our founding team came from backgrounds in consumer lending operations, auto service and personal finance writing. Again and again, we saw drivers put a necessary repair on a high-interest card, skip an inspection repair until a ticket arrived, or drive on worn tires because they did not know what their options were. Most of those drivers did not need a complicated product. They needed plain information and an easy way to see whether a personal loan made sense.
So we focused on one narrow job: personal loans of roughly $500 to $5,000 for car-related expenses. That includes auto repair loans for engine, transmission and electrical work, help with car insurance premiums and deductibles, emissions and inspection repairs, tires and brakes, and collision and body repair. We do not cover financing to buy a vehicle, refinancing, mortgages or other loan types.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make car-expense borrowing easier to understand before anyone signs anything. That means showing typical repair cost ranges, explaining how APR and loan terms change the total you repay, and being upfront about when borrowing is not the best choice.
We would rather you leave with a cheaper solution than take a loan you do not need. If your repair shop offers an interest-free payment plan, if an insurance claim will cover the damage, or if a second estimate cuts the bill in half, those are good outcomes too.
How We Work
Auto Approve Loans operates as a connecting service. You fill out one short request with basic details such as the amount you need, what it is for, your income and your contact information. That request may be shared with participating lenders and partners in our network who serve your state and your situation.
- Free for borrowers. We never charge you to submit a request or to review offers.
- No obligation. You can compare any offers you receive and walk away from all of them.
- Lenders decide. Each lender runs its own review, which may include a soft or hard credit check, and sets its own terms.
- We are paid by partners. Lenders and marketing partners may compensate us when we connect them with consumers. Our advertiser disclosure explains how that works.
For a step-by-step walkthrough of what happens after you submit, see how our matching process works.
Editorial Standards
The guides, calculators and comparisons on this site are written to help you make a decision, not to push you toward one. Our writers follow a short set of rules:
- Cost figures are presented as estimates and ranges, because prices vary by vehicle, region and shop.
- Payment examples are labeled as estimates and use clearly stated amounts, APRs and terms.
- We explain alternatives to borrowing, including savings, shop payment plans and insurance claims.
- Compensation from partners does not change what our articles say about costs, risks or alternatives.
- We review content regularly and update it when typical costs, rate ranges or rules change.
Our reviewers check each guide for accuracy, plain language and fairness before it goes live. If you spot something that looks wrong or outdated, please tell us and we will look into it.
The Team Behind the Site
We are a small team, and each person covers a specific part of the work:
- Consumer finance editor: oversees every article, checks rate and payment math, and makes sure disclosures are clear.
- Automotive cost researcher: tracks typical prices for repairs, tires, brakes, emissions work and body repair so our ranges stay realistic.
- Lender partnerships manager: works with participating lenders, reviews their disclosures and checks that partners follow our standards.
- Compliance reviewer: reviews pages for accurate, non-misleading language and appropriate consumer disclosures.
- Customer support specialists: answer questions by phone and email, handle opt-out requests and route complaints.
- Product and privacy lead: maintains the request form, site security and our privacy practices.
By the Numbers
Since launch, we have served about 48,000 customers, and borrowers have given us an average of 4.6 out of 5 across 4,320 ratings. You can read illustrative borrower stories on our reviews page. We share these numbers to show our track record, not to suggest that any particular outcome is likely for you.
What We Will Never Do
- Charge you a fee to submit a request or to see offers.
- Claim that approval is certain or that a credit check will be skipped.
- Pretend to be your lender or make a credit decision on your behalf.
- Sell your information to parties unrelated to your request; see our privacy policy for details.
